Valentine’s sale : Stitch your heart out

It’s the month of love and romance, hearts and roses – yes, it’s the month of St Valentine. Are you doing something elaborate and wildly romantic to celebrate or going low-key and keeping it simple and thoughtful?

But hearts aren’t only for Valentine’s Day. They’re a year-round symbol of love and a reminder to the special people in our lives how we feel about them. I’m thinking embroidered pillowcases – a pretty good way to start the day, don’t you think? And tote bags with a secret heart stitched into the lining to keep someone feeling loved all day long. How about hanging some hearts around the house to remind you to show yourself a little love sometimes too? Or framing an embroidered artwork of hearts as a gift for a good friend? The options for heartfelt makes are endless, but maybe you just like hearts – in that case, knock yourself out and embroider them for the sheer joy of stitching!
