Mister Finch : A man that sews

Meet Mister Finch. A textile artist and self-proclaimed man that sews. He makes beautiful creatures and collectibles using vintage fabric, some of it embroidered.

I first came across Mister Finch when I saw his delicate upcycled butterflies, with wings fashioned from old embroidered fabric. His moths are just as sublime, and his mushrooms realistic enough to eat.

He’s made all manner of things, though, for all manner of people and projects. To get the full impact, take a look at Mister Finch’s portfolio of makes and gaze in wonder.

These are so great - I had seen the moths before but not the mushroom. Absolutely amazing. Thanks for sharing.

His winged creatures in particular take stumpwork to a whole new level, don't you think?
