The Stitch & Thimble : 12

It’s that time again, when a new edition of The Stitch & Thimble makes its way out into the digisphere.

Edition 12’s projects are largely for toddlers, but with the added extras introduced in edition 11 still very much in place. This time around there’s a full-length feature on the evolution of hand embroidery, an embroidered appliqué how to (a great way to use up some of your fabric stash and inject additional colour into your work) and some fun bits and pieces on cotton, online stitch dictionaries and a needlework terminology quiz.

It's available as usual for only £5 from the online shop on my website. But if you’d prefer to buy in US$, head over to my Craftsy shop, where The Stitch & Thimble is selling for just $7.50. You’ll find all the back issues there as well, so there are quite a few to choose from. And if you live in South Africa, please get in touch with me for a copy in ZAR prices.

It’s always fun making things for kids. So if you have any little ones in your life, this is the edition for you.
