…that DMC stood for Dollfus-Mieg & Cie? Or Dollfus-Mieg et Compagnie, to get super technical.
I’ve been using DMC threads for years and never really thought about what the letters stood for. Until I unpacked and then flipped over the lid of an old thread box yesterday that I’d brought home holding buttons and lace and other haberdashery bits and pieces from my last Hospice shop visit.
A rather random tidbit of information, but now I know.
