Nose to the needle

So the gallavanting is over for now and it feels good to have needle in hand again, with the result that I've made a solid start on embroidering the new design.


I've learnt a new stitch, too. Portuguese stem stitch. I rather like it.

I love the photos - the dreamy greens in the last photo are fabulous. The Portugese stem stitch looks brilliant. I'd really like to learn it!
