101 uses for human hair
I recently chopped off about eight inches of my hair and, when I told my mom, she asked whether I’d kept it for a pincushion. Sadly, I hadn’t. But apparently it’s a really good pincushion filling as it keeps your pins and needles sharp and prevents them from rusting.
So there you are, another lesson learnt. And you can never have enough pincushions. I have three for now, but none are filled with hair. Fortunately mine grows pretty quickly…

Well, I definitely learnt something. Send a pic I want to see your new hair cut!
I've read that today's pins stay sharp anyway, so not to fear. Cute pincushions!
I definitely did not know that. That stripy pin cushion is so cute!
